THIS IS MY STORY...
Live Chosen Ministries was established in 2011. Prior to 2011, Marteshia was a Youth Pastor for a number of years, but soon realized that her ministry was bigger than just ministering to young people. God had enlarged her passion to reach singles who were waiting on God for a mate. Being saved, & sanctified, she understood the lifestyle & wanted to encourage believers who were unmarried that Gods plan & purpose for their lives is great in their current state. It was at this time that Marteshia began hosting healthy relationship forums, Valentines Day events & panel discussions. Live Chosen became the motto for her messages to reach people from all walks of life! The Lord also expanded her heart for couples who were married & facing challenges as well. As the expansion of these initiatives she hosted inner city revivals & volunteer experiences to help those in need. It was very clear that her love for all people had bloomed! The more she loved God, the more she loved people!! The heartbeat of God is people knowing His love to transform their lives.
The Live Chosen name was birthed during Marteshia’s prayer time. She was crying out to the Lord about the difficulties of life. And In the middle of pouring out her heart, she heard the Lord say “Live Like You Been Chosen.” In the midst of one of the hardest trials of her life, God reminded her she had been chosen. God always allows His people to go through things for His purpose. “Man that is born of woman is of few days & full of trouble. Job 14:1. Living Chosen is not the absence of challenges but rather the presence of God’s power with you through adversity. With this great mantle in one hand & the Word of God in the other, God has enlarged her territory & anointed Marteshia with the capacity of a world changer to continue to pour out fresh oil on all those she encounters as she tells men, women, boys & girls of their royal heritage in God & the mandate He’s placed on all of our lives to Live Chosen!
OUR MISSION
Youth Alive Ministries, established in 2001, was formed as a community outreach whose mission is to transform the lives of our targeted audience through spiritual counsel, planning for the future, service in their community and the promotion of self-expression through the arts. It is our goal to stand in the gap for youth inspiring them to grow into upstanding members of society with goals, vision and tenacity to make their city and this world a better place.
